Kutsuzawa creates her paintings by layering clear, translucent colors and softly scraping the surfaces.

1996 BFA in Oil Painting, Musashino Art University
1998 MFA in Oil Painting, Graduate School of Musashino Art University
2004 Recipient of the 17th Holbein Scholarship
