Base Gallery is pleased to announce an upcoming solo exhibition by Katsuhito Nishikawa.
Nishikawa has been deeply involved in the activities of the Museum Insel Hombroich near Düsseldorf, Germany, where he continues to create in his studio adjacent to the museum. His works, with their minimalist forms, evoke a tranquil stillness, inviting viewers to pause and immerse themselves in the subtle play of light and shadow.
Coinciding with our exhibition, the DIC Kawamura Memorial Museum in Sakura, Chiba, hosts Japan’s first retrospective, Katsuto Nishikawa: Serenity in Stillness (September 14, 2024 – January 26, 2025).
We warmly invite you to experience both exhibitions.
